We wanted to share some recent feedback from Trevor at RFK Kitchens, a retailer who has worked with us since opening his business in 1993.
Over that time, RFK has grown into a well-established operation with multiple showrooms and a strong presence in both retail and contract kitchens. Their projects range from simple replacements through to full extension work and bespoke developments, often working closely with homeowners to create something individual.
Here’s an insight into one of their Kitchen Makers displays:

We asked Trevor a few questions about his business and his experience working with us and our kitchens.
Can you tell us a bit about RFK Kitchens and the types of projects you specialise in?
RFK Kitchens operates from a 4,500 sq ft head office showroom in Rugby along with showrooms in Warwick and Market Harborough. Alongside retail, we have a dedicated contracts team working with regional developers on high-value homes, offering a full design, build and installation service. Our retail projects vary from straightforward replacements through to larger extensions where the kitchen, dining and living space are central to the home.
What keeps you coming back to Kitchen Makers by Burbidge?
The quality is second to none, they are flexible with bespoke sizes and painted finishes, and the service is reliable. We know we can depend on them.
What do they do better than other manufacturers?
They listen, whether it is product development or improving the day to day experience, they take feedback seriously.
How important is British manufacturing to you and your clients?
It is very important, particularly with classic Shaker kitchens. Clients value UK manufacture and the shorter lead times help us keep projects on track.
How do our kitchens support your design process?
The free display design service is a great starting point for us, even if we develop the scheme further.
How do your clients respond once installed?
They love them; the product quality, combined with our design approach, works well.
How important is support from a supplier?
Very important, communication is key and Burbidge are flexible when it comes to resolving issues quickly.
If another retailer were considering us, what would you say?
Big enough to cope but small enough to care.
Three words to describe Kitchen Makers by Burbidge
Reliable, quality, craftsmanship.
It is always reassuring to hear this kind of feedback from a retailer who has seen the business from both sides over many years. Partnerships like this, built on consistency, trust and a shared understanding of what matters to the end customer, are what continue to shape how we operate today.
