When Katie began refurbishing her 19th-century Dartmoor home, she wanted new living spaces that would remain true to the character of the house. Planning a kitchen, dining room, and utility space, she faced challenges incorporating modern conveniences while maintaining a timeless look.

After visiting KF Kitchens in Plymouth, Katie really liked the Kitchen Makers range. She was looking for a traditional kitchen, but it had to be stylish at the same time, and timeless. 

The plan really started to come together when Nathan visited Katie’s home: “He drew everything up, and Derinda created the virtual look, so I had a vision,” she said. “I had started with an idea of one big kitchen, but Nathan suggested fitting a wall so that the utility room is separate. I really like that because it keeps things out of the way, especially when I have guests.”

Katie chose the Kitchen Makers Somerton range in Bone with a Baltic Green island, complemented by quartz worktops and Neff appliances.

KF Kitchens also installed a bar and dresser in the dining room, enhancing the space for entertaining. Katie was thrilled with the results, praising the team’s dedication: “They went above and beyond to ensure I got exactly what I wanted.”
